This is what ZERO looks like!

January 13, 2011 - Zero Degrees on the C Ridge
Coldest morning of the year, so far....Thursday morning I awoke to a very chilly day.  It was a whole zero degrees!  The frost was beautiful.  I went out for my morning walk, yes even though it was zero I still walked.  It didn't feel as cold this day as it did the night before when the temperature was in the teens.  I bundled up, got my pup and away we went.  I have to say the only part of my body to get cold was the nose.  It was running, then freezing and I couldn't tell it!  haha Gross, I know, but kinda interesting.  Anyway, just wanted to share.  Have a wonderful day and weekend.

Until next time . . .

From Puppy to Big Dog...Jasper is growing up!

Almost seven months have passed since I brought Jasper to the C Ridge (aka Collins Ridge, aka My Home).  This would mean that Jasper is almost 10 months old!  My baby puppy doesn't look so much like a baby anymore; his actions speak otherwise most of the time.  I look back at these first photos and think "wow, what happened to that little lanky pup?"  At 10 months old Jasper doesn't really have any resemblance to a puppy left in him.  Sometimes, depending on the sometimes, one can catch a glimpse of puppy though.  Jasper has been so good for me; I can't even describe how much I love and care for my pup.  He's so very special to me.  I can just look at him and he brings a smile to my face.

June 20, 2010 - the day I brought Jasper home!
Here's some then (at 3 months old) and now snapshots of Jasper (at almost 10 months old):

Hello 2011

I must say I can't believe it's the start of another new year.  Time sure flies!  I'm kinda looking forward to a fresh start though.  This year, more than others I can remember, I feel especially impressed to start fresh, new, and remove clutter.  It's weird, but I've never felt those things as strongly as I do this year.

No resolutions were made by me this year.  I always break them; thus, breaking promises to myself.  So, rather than making and breaking a promise I'm sticking to a solution to the resolution by not making one and just living life the best I can.

I started my new year with a walk!  That's my solution to the resolution this year; walk, walk, walk, walk, walk.  As much and as often as I can I'm going to walk!  By doing this hopefully I'll get going on living happy and healthy!

This is also the year to de-clutter, get rid of, throw away, begone stuff I don't need, downsize; I think you get the drift.  If I haven't used it it's going.  If it's junk it's going.  Whatever that 'it' is that is unnecessary it's GOING AWAY!  lol

I'm not superstitious or anything, but I feel really good about this year.  Not sure why, but something tells me this is going to be an eye-opening, interestingly great year.  We'll see.

So, on this first day of the first work week of the new year, 2011, I'm wishing you a great, prosperous and healthy year.

Until next time . . .
